What are your hours?

White Horse Black Mountain will be open:
Thursday through Saturday: 6PM to 1AM

These hours begin on opening day, November 1. There will likely be additional hours as we add features and activities to our schedule. They’ll all be found on this site and on the phone.

What if I get there before the show and just want to have a drink?

You are welcome to come in and have a drink before the scheduled show.

About a half hour before the show you will be asked to pay the admission charge, or you can just come back to the ticket office and do it yourself.

We hope you enjoy your time at White Horse.

How can I get tickets?

To keep admission prices down (& save trees) White Horse has elected not to hire a computerized ticket service at this time.

Here’s how you can get admitted to our events:

Walk-In Admissions:

Not all shows offer reserved admissions.  Some are first come first served.  You’ll be able to tell which shows offer reserved admissions by going to our calendar page and clicking on each show.

For walk in admissions, first come first served means we can only sell admissions for people that are there at White Horse.   If your friends haven’t arrived they must take their chances on getting in.  We apologize that we can't hold walk-in spots for those who aren’t there yet.  It’s because there may be folks right in front of us ready to go in, and because we are obliged to respect our fire occupancy laws by keeping an accurate count of all those entering the venue.  When you pay for your admission, we will stamp your hand so you may go out and come in again and we know you’ve paid.

Fortunately, having a number of sellout crowds at White Horse has necessitated this change.

Reserved Admissions:

Not all shows offer reserved admissions. Some are first come first served. You’ll be able to tell which shows offer reserved admissions by going to our calendar page and clicking on each show.

To keep admission prices down (& save trees) White Horse has elected not to hire a computerized ticket service at this time. This means that on busy nights we may ask for your patience as we locate your reserved admissions by hand. Please bring a copy of the online receipt if you have purchased online, and a proper ID. We should have your name on a list but your receipt will help us. When you come to White Horse and show us your receipt we will stamp your hand and you may go in and out as you wish.

Here’s how you buy reserved admissions:

1. Go to www.whitehorseblackmountain.com any time day or night to buy admissions for selected shows.  Please print out your computer email receipt and bring it to White Horse when you come for your event.

2. Come to our physical location at 105C Montreat Road, Black Mountain, NC on Thurs, Fri, and Sat 6 PM to 1AM to prepay.  You’ll receive a credit card or cash receipt. Please bring it to the show.  Stay posted as these hours will increase.

3. We do not generally sell prepaid or reserved admissions on the day of the show.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: White Horse Black Mountain offers some Family Friendly and Teen Friendly events, which are noted on the website and advertising. In those cases people under 21 may be admitted with an ID and proper adult supervision (but of course not served alcohol).

In all other cases we are admit folks 21 and over only. While we love kids, not all patrons at all times wish to go out and party with other people's kids.We are trying to offer variously designed events to please as many as we can.

NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES, FIREARMS, or outside food or alcohol are permitted at White Horse. White Horse reserves the right not to admit or serve alcohol to people we suspect may be dangerously intoxicated. Thanks for helping us obey NC law.

ALL SHOWTIMES are subject to change, and our website and advertising does sometimes contain errors, and we are not legally responsible for those errors.  When in doubt call us at (828) 669-0816.

ALL OUR POLICIES are under review as our venue evolves, and we welcome constructive comments and suggestions! We are a new club with a big dream and are working out the logistics. improving as we go. We'd love to please everyone all the time but other club owners say it's not possible. We're trying anyway! We are so glad to be here in Black Mountain bringing you music, new friends, and community. Should you wish to contact us regarding our policies please email whitehorseblackmountain@gmail.com.

All parking in the town of Black Mountain is free. There is some parking immediately adjacent to White Horse. A larger municipal lot is just across Montreat Road near the Black Mountain Town Hall. There is much “on street” parking. Several additional lots, none of which are more than 3-4 minutes walk from White Horse Black Mountain, are easily located.
