For several years running, a crowd of electronic and electro-acoustic musicians have made White Horse Black Mountain their home for a weekend in May.
Previously known as EMAVL (Electro-Music Asheville), the festival has been a place to see and hear innovative musicians sharing their craft with one another. It’s an intense immersive experience, as the artists are also accompanied by projected art by some equally innovative video artists. From home made instruments to the latest in electronic technology, this event attracts both local artists (some of whom are known worldwide as the elite of their craft) and international ones.
Asheville is the home of the Moog Museum and the Bob Moog Foundation, and has secured its place in the world as an oasis of some of the world’s foremost musicians and technologists.
White Horse Black Mountain is proud to be able to host this event!
