Asheville Wassailers to Perform Traditional Holiday Music Dec. 14
BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C.—“Yulefest!, A Musical Celebration of Olde Christmas,” a star-studded lineup that includes fiddle player Laurie Fisher,vocalist Saro Lynch Thompson,The Asheville Morris Dancers, The Asheville Wassailers vocal group and Bardic Alchemy, comes to White Horse Black Mountainon Saturday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m.

The show will feature Celtic traditional holiday music, original songs for the season, comedy and theatrical mayhem, with multiple groups and individuals performing.
Fisher will also narrate and co-produce the show, which will be a seated event. Bardic Alchemy, a popular Celtic group from the Appalachian region, features whistles, flutes, bagpipes, guitars, drums and vocals. They have thrilled White Horse Black Mountain audiences on many past occasions.
White Horse Black Mountain (105 Montreat Rd.) is a 215-seat music and arts venue that has staged more than 2,500 concerts and other events during its 10-year history. It offers state- of-the-art sound, cabaret-style (table) seating, and bar/concession area that serves beer, wine, Kombucha, Shanti Elixers, soft drinks and snacks.
